Analytical (تجزیاتی)chemistry is the science of chemical characterization, A complete
chemical characterization of a compound must include both qualitative معیاری and quantitativeمقداری. In qualitative analysis, the chemist is concerned مطلبwith the detection or identificationپہچان of the elements present in a compound. Whereas in quantitative analysis, the relative amounts of the elements are determined. A complete quantitative determination
generally consists of four major steps (1) Obtaining a sample for analysis (2) Separation علیحدگیof the desired مطلوبہconstituent احاطہ کیے ہوئے (3) Measurement, and calculation of results (iv) Drawing conclusion from the analysis. We will restrict ourselves to only important techniques of separation.
