Why We Need Computers?
It is usually said that we are living in the age of computers. You might see computers in homes, government and non-government organizations. You will observe that in our day to day work routine how much depends on computers. Almost all over the world, the utility bills (i.e. gas, electricity and telephone bills) are prepared by computers. Suppose you are doing shopping, suddenly you need money but your money is kept in a bank which is far away from the market. The question is how you will manage to get money from the bank. Some years back, it was impossible to get money from a bank account without going to the bank. But now computers make it possible. You might have a cash machine. This machine provides you with the facility of doing banking without going to the bank. Most of the shopping malls provide a facility to accept credit card instead of cash.
